Building and Reporting on your Alyce Program

Our integration with Marketo allows marketers to track the success of Alyce campaigns within the Marketo environment, enabling you to build better attribution across your other marketing Programs.

  1. Create a new Channel in Marketo for “Personal Gifting”.  Navigate to Admin > Tags, click +New and select New Channel.

  2. Create a new Program Status for each Alyce Gift Status and select your measure(s) of Success.status.png
  3. Create a new Program for Alyce. Navigate to Marketing Activities and click the “New” icon. Select New Program and enter the corresponding Program Information.new_program.png
  4. Create a Smart Campaign to change the Program Status when the Alyce Event has occurred. Within the program just created, click "New" and select New Smart Campaign. Build your Smart List by adding "Creates Alyce Gift Invitation" and the operator "is not empty". In the Flow, add "Change Program Status" and map the Alyce Gift Statuses to the Program Statuses created earlier.

  5. Build a Program Report to track your Alyce campaigns. Right click the Program, select New Local Asset, then Report. Select your Type, give the report a Name, and click Create.  You can now monitor the performance of your Alyce Campaign.

Building an Alyce Interesting Moment

Using an Alyce Gift Status to build an Interesting Moment turns your generic persona-based campaigns into engaging streams of content that are personal and relevant.

  1. From your Smart Campaign, create a Smart List by adding a Trigger for the Alyce Gift Status of your choosing.image__7_.png
  2. Within your Smart Campaign Flow, drag over Interesting Moment.

  3. Select the Interesting Moment Type of Milestone, and write a brief description of the Alyce Gift Status.
  4. Activate your Smart Campaign. Now that you’ve created an Alyce Interesting Moment, a Sales Rep will be able to see this in Marketo Sales Insight. The Alyce Interesting Moment will display on the lead, contact, account, or opportunity pages. They also appear in the Sales Insight dashboard in the Lead Feed, Best Bets, and Watch List.

Build Alyce Engagement Data into Lead Scoring

  1. From your Smart Campaign, create a Smart List by adding a Trigger for the Alyce Gift Status of your choosing.image__7_.png
  2. Within your Smart Campaign Flow, drag over Change Score.change_score.png
  3. Select the Score Name you want to change relative to the Alyce Gift Status data.

Examples of values for the Change field:

+5 (will increment)
-5 (will decrement)
=5 (will make the score that exact positive number)
=-5 (will make the score that exact negative number)

Build a Marketo Campaign Using Alyce Engagement Actions

  1. From your Smart Campaign, create a Flow Step by adding a Trigger for the Alyce Gift Status of your choosing.image__7_.png
  2. Sequence any series of actions as a follow up to the change in Alyce Gift Status. For example, you might want to send an internal notification to your BDR team that an Alyce Gift has been viewed.alert.png
    Or, you might want to send an email to the prospect to follow up on a viewed gift they have not accepted.email.png
    Or, you might want to create a list of the contacts who have similarly engaged with their invitation.list.png

Alerts from Marketo

Alyce will automatically notify admins via email if custom activities or attributes are deleted or modified in Marketo.  Such deletion or modification will break the Alyce integration. If this occurs, Admin can use the "Save" button within the Marketo integration settings in Alyce to restore connectivity.
