How to Expire a Gift

Having second thoughts on a gift you sent out? Wishing you had not set the time to accept the gift to be so long? Don’t sweat it, this article will teach you how to expire gift invitations you’ve already sent out. 

Start by finding your gift. Click on “campaigns” in your top navigation bar 

Click on the campaign you sent the gift from. If you don’t see it, you can use the search bar to find the right campaign.  

Scroll halfway down the page to “Gift Breakdown” and search for your recipient’s name. When the gift you’re looking populates, click on its gift status.

The gift flow will pop up. Scroll to the bottom of the flow, and click the red button “expire this gift” 

The gift is now expired. Your recipient will no longer be able to access the gift redemption page. 

Note: Gifts and contacts cannot be deleted. Gifts which have already been sent will still count as a gift send. If you need to expire many gifts at once, please reach out to the Alyce Support team for help.
