Alyce for Demandbase Integration Prerequisites

The Alyce for Demandbase integration is connected via Salesforce. Your Demandbase instance will need to be integrated with your Salesforce instance to use the Alyce for Demandbase integration. Before you can successfully install the Alyce for Demandbase integration, ensure that you have completed the steps in this document.

Note: You will need to involve your Salesforce Admin to complete these steps.

Field History (in Salesforce)

The Alyce for Demandbase integration will allow you to trigger Alyce gifts when Accounts demonstrate your specified Demandbase Engagement Minutes. To achieve this, we need to enable Field History in Salesforce on the Account Object by following the steps below.

Note: You will need to be a Salesforce Admin to complete these steps.

Step 1: Within your Salesforce instance, navigate to the gear icon and select “Setup”.

Step 2: Within the Quick Find box, search for and select “Object Manager”.

Step 3: Within the next screen, search for “Account” and select the Account object.

Step 4: Select “Fields & Relationships” and then click “Set History Tracking”.

Step 5: In the list of fields, find the “Engagement Minutes (7 Days)” field, check the box (if it is not already checked), and then click “Save”.
