How to Configure Oracle Eloqua Campaigns with Alyce

The Alyce + Oracle Eloqua integration includes two services which can be used within your Oracle Eloqua campaigns: an action service and a decision service. 

The Alyce action service is also called Add to Alyce 1:Many Campaign and the Alyce decision service is called Evaluate Alyce Gift Status. 

To ensure that you have configured your Alyce + Oracle Oracle Eloqua campaigns correctly, be sure to review the Alyce for Oracle Oracle Eloqua FAQs before activating your campaign.

This document will describe how you can incorporate both of these Alyce services within your Oracle Eloqua campaigns to automate your 1:Many gifting motion.

Add to Alyce 1:Many Campaign (Action Service)

This service enables you to dynamically add Oracle Eloqua contacts to your Alyce 1:Many campaigns to make them eligible to receive gifts as part of that Alyce 1:Many campaign. 

Note: All Alyce + Oracle Eloqua campaigns must include a single action service.

To configure this service within your Oracle Eloqua campaigns, follow these steps:

Step 1: Drag the Add to Alyce 1:Many Campaign onto your Oracle Eloqua campaign canvas from the campaign steps sidebar.

Step 2: Double click the “Add to Alyce 1:Many Campaign” step and click the pencil icon in the top right hand corner.

Step 3: Choose the Alyce 1:Many campaign to which you would like to add contacts.

Step 4: Click “Save”, then “Back to Oracle Eloqua”, and close the dialog box.

Congratulations, you have successfully configured the Alyce “Add to Alyce 1:Many Campaign” action service. Your contacts will be added to your Alyce 1:Many campaign as soon as you activate your Oracle Eloqua campaign.

Evaluate Alyce Gift Status (Decision Service)

This service enables you to evaluate the gift status for each individual Oracle Eloqua contact as they flow through your Oracle Eloqua campaign canvas. To configure this service within your Oracle Eloqua campaigns, follow these steps:

Step 1: Drag the “Evaluate Alyce Gift Status” step onto your Oracle Eloqua campaign canvas from the campaign steps sidebar.

Step 2: Double click the “Evaluate Alyce Gift Status” step and click the pencil icon in the top right hand corner.

Step 3: Choose the Alyce gift status that you would like to evaluate.

Step 4: Click “Save”, then “Back to Oracle Eloqua”, and close the dialog box.

Congratulations, you have successfully configured the Alyce “Evaluate Alyce Gift Status” decision service. Once you activate your Oracle Eloqua campaign, the gift status for each of your contacts will be evaluated as soon as each Oracle Eloqua contact reaches this step in the campaign.
