Using Marketo and Alyce 1:Many to Map Salesforce Campaign Member Statuses

Currently, Salesforce Campaign Member Statuses can be mapped to Alyce Gift Statuses to enable seamless reporting and tracking between Alyce and Salesforce. For Alyce 1:Many campaigns, these Alyce Gift Statuses only begin when a gift recipient interacts with their Alyce gift link.

By following the steps detailed in this document, you can utilize your Salesforce Campaign Member statuses to track all steps of the gifting process from the time the initial gift email is sent all the way through to when the Alyce gift is ultimately received.

Step 1: Create 1:Many Alyce Campaign in Alyce

This will follow the normal process of creating a 1:Many Alyce Campaign. You can find more details in Getting Started: How to create an Alyce 1:Many Campaign.

Step 2: Synchronize 1:Many Alyce Campaign to Salesforce

This can be done by enabling automatic campaign creation via the Alyce Administration page in Salesforce. You can find more details in Step 3 of Configuring the Alyce Salesforce 2.0 Integration.

Step 3: Add a step within your Marketo Flow to add contacts to the 1:Many Campaign in Salesforce with a specified status

This step will ensure that your Marketo contacts are added to the correct campaign in Salesforce. You can find more details in the Marketo Help Guide: Add to SFDC Campaign.

Step 4: Add Marketo contacts to the 1:Many Alyce Campaign via Smart Campaign or Static List

This will follow the normal process of creating a 1:Many Alyce Campaign. You can find more details in How to Link a Smart Campaign From Marketo to Alyce 1:Many.

Step 5: Since the 1:Many Campaign is now connected between Alyce and Salesforce, as recipients engage with their gifts, their Salesforce Campaign Member status will be updated accordingly

This will follow the campaign member statuses that you designated in Step 5 on the Alyce Administration Page in Salesforce. You can find more details in Step 5 of Configuring the Alyce Salesforce 2.0 Integration
